ร้าน Piyanas Electric: Dynaudio EMIT-20 (Walnut) Jaw-dropping performance from powerful standmounters ● Designed and engineered in Denmark ● Cerotar tweeter ● Clean and simple Emit 20 is a high-performance standmount speaker derived from our Evoke, Contour i and Confidence series. It gives a stellar combination of detail and punch for small to medium-sized rooms. We don’t use the term ‘authentic fidelity’ lightly. With Emit 20, that’s exactly what you’ll get: a premium audiophile speaker that astonishes at the price. It might be an ‘entry-level’ model, but Emit 20 is still crammed with technology that you’ll find in our other families, right up to the flagship Confidence range and our Core professional reference monitors. Make no mistake: you’ll experience performance you simply wouldn’t expect at this level. Mid/bass power and control Emit 20 uses an 18cm MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) woofer, based on the one we’ve used in the Evoke series. MSP is a material we developed in-house, and have used for many years on our most renowned models. The cone itself is a one-piece design; the dust-cap is moulded as part of the playing surface, which gives it a solid connection to the voice-coil that moves it back and forth. You’ll hear that connection as supreme control and detail in the low and midrange frequencies. The voice-coil itself is aluminium, wound onto a two-layer glass-fibre former. We’ve a long history of using aluminium wire in our voice-coils – and for good reason. It’s light, so doesn’t impede fine movement, and we can get more windings on the former for a given length of wire. That means more ‘BL’, or magnetic power. More power means more punch. We’ve boosted that further, too, by coating the aluminium wire in copper. Combined with the stacked ferrite magnet system and new surround, that gives Emit 20’s long-throw mid/bass driver all the bass power you could want, even at high volumes, combined with amazing control over midrange frequencies (where instruments such as guitars, vocals and violins reside). High-level tweeter performance Emit 20 uses the Cerotar tweeter directly from Evoke. It’s a 28mm soft-dome design that includes the ingenious Hexis inner-dome device. The coated fabric dome delivers sweet-sounding high frequencies – all the openness and detail the artists want you to experience in their recordings – while the Hexis smooths the frequency response and reduces unwanted resonance for surprising clarity. Cerotar is powered by a powerful Ferrite+ strontium carbonate ceramic magnet system. It gives the tweeter all the power it needs to play loud without breakup while maintaining all the nuance you could want. Even at neighbour-bothering levels. And because it uses technology from our top-of-the-range Core pro reference speakers (whose users need to listen intently for long periods), you won’t get tired when you’re in the middle of a long session. Inside the crossover The mid/bass driver and tweeter are marshalled by a custom-designed crossover from the same team who brought you Heritage Special and Core. Our engineers used a hybrid first- and second-order topology for the tweeter and woofer respectively, giving them exceptional control over each driver’s behaviour. It means you’ll hear what the artist wants you to hear, without compromise. An impressive finish Emit 20 comes in three custom-designed laminate finishes – Black, White and Walnut – that beautifully complement the cabinets’ clean Scandinavian design (conceived in-house at our headquarters in Denmark). Black magnetic grilles come as standard in the box. We’ve even lavished attention on the cover-rings, which hide the mounting screws. They’re one-piece moulded with the surface finish embedded in the material, which eliminates the need for lacquer – so they won’t degrade over time. If you want an audiophile-level standmount speaker for a stereo set-up in medium-size room, or fancy a little more ‘oompf’ from your rear surround channels, Emit 20 is the ideal choice. It’s ultra-capable while still being super-affordable. Compact enough to use as a USB DAC/amp on your work desk and stylish enough to use at home with your favourite active speakers or amp, it delivers a level of specification and performance that punches above its super-affordable price tag. The ZEN DAC V2 supports PCM and DXD to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD256 and MQA. DSD remains ‘bit-perfect’ thanks to the True Native Burr-Brown chip design. 16 core = hardcore. Thanks to the 16 core tech, the ZEN DAC V2 is now an MQA Decoder rather than a Renderer only. This enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording. The LED glows green or blue to indicate that the unit is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file, and denotes provenance to ensure that the sound is identical to that of the source material. If this is the type of connection you crave, then a well-designed phono stage is integral for your vinyl setup. It takes the subtle whispers of your cartridge and amplifies them hundreds of times, making your vinyl’s magic compatible with headphones, amps, receivers and speakers. The ZEN Phono 3 opens the door to that analogue world with style and substance. With an intelligent warp filter and versatile loading options, you will be able to hear your over-loved LPs as new and fully experiment with your system setup. Packed with trickle-down technology from our prestigious history with sister company AMR, the ZEN Phono 3 is a noise-free upgrade that will allow you to slip seamlessly back into the blissful world of vinyl. Superior Specification. Zen Phono 3 boasts futuristic features unlike any other entry-level stage: MM/MC with 36-72dB gain range Independent loading adjustment Super-silent -151dBV noise floor Precise RIAA with balanced output Intelligent subsonic filter High-tech 1.2MHz clean power supply Super Smart. Super Subsonic. Standard subsonic filters aren’t intelligent and are typically loathed by audiophiles. They filter not only the bass rumble from warped records but also the bass of the song. Our intelligent subsonic filter knows the difference between the two and only filters the warp, leaving the song completely intact, and without adding group delay. Your Cartridge. Your Rules. The ZEN Phono 3 supports four MM/MC gain selections from 36 to 72dB and four input impedance settings. Mix and match gain and loading settings independently of each other with the all-new loading button, ensuring optimum compatibility with a wide range of cartridges and allowing you to get the sound ‘just right’. Exacting Equalisation. At the vinyl mastering stage, records are pressed with an inverse RIAA equalisation curve applied. This needs to be undone on playback by the phono stage to reveal the magic of the music. ZEN Phono 3’s RIAA EQ circuitry uses multiple TDK C0G capacitors in parallel. This is for best stability and the least distortion. This allows for ZEN Phono 3’s RIAA playback equalisation curve to be within +/- 0.15dB tolerance from 20-20kHz, allowing you to hear your records more accurately than ever before. Its RIAA accuracy is on-par with more costly phono stages that use hand-selected capacitors. Shockingly Silent. ZEN Phono 3 has a high-tech clean power supply built directly into it, isolated on its own “island” and away from the rest of the board. The power supply’s isolation mitigates noise pollution of the analogue stage – ensuring that only the audio is amplified and allowing for the noise-floor to remain whisper quiet. ZEN Phono 3’s Equivalent Input Noise measures at -151dBV, which is 20dBV quieter than some Stereophile Class A+ phonos. * For optimal noise performance, ensure that you are providing the cleanest power to your Phono 3. The iFi iPower2 is an ultra-quiet, ultra-clean audiophile-grade power supply, featuring Active Noise Cancellation II technology to cancel out all incoming EMI and RFI noise. You’ll never feel powerless against noise and graininess again. Since the very first iPhono launched in 2012, we have used our own in-house Subsonic Filter. As there is only minimal vertical modulation remaining at very low frequencies with an actual cut LP that is playable, we know that “vertical modulation” at low frequencies must be warp.
