While this pedal excels at the vintage bucket-brigade chorus and vibrato tones you’ve heard for decades, these straightforward controls can also create a wide range of textures and are versatile enough for any music style. Controls “Rate” controls the speed of the LFO (left is slower, right is faster). “Depth” controls the depth, or perceived mix of the chorus effect (left is less, right is more). The side switch toggles between two modes: Chorus and Vibrato (reminiscent of effect pedals like the BOSS VB-2). The footswitch activates the pedal via soft touch bypass switching. The Gemini Chorus offers three types of deep, hypnotic chorus. Classic mode creates a single voiced effect that conjures subtle and creamy tones from the first wave of 1970s chorus pedals. The thick and rich Dual Chorus provides a smooth, yet animated double voiced effect. The lush and spacious Quad chorus recaptures that ‘80s vibe with its less than subtle rack system sound. Once you’ve found your chorus, dial in the sweet spot with the onboard Mix and Tone controls. Out of the box, the Gemini offers tremendous tonal range, but beneath the hood resides a much deeper level of power and flexibility. Every pedal in the One Series line is compatible with the Neuro Mobile App (a free download for iOS and Android). Link the Gemini to the Neuro App and access Source Audio’s free library of additional phaser, flanger, and chorus algorithms – each can be downloaded directly to your Gemini Chorus. The Neuro App also offers an extended set of adjustable parameters including Feedback, Output Level, embeddable Tremolo, a Parametric EQ, Advanced Signal Routing and more. Plus, every One Series pedal is fully MIDI compatible when coupled with the Neuro Hub (formerly Soundblox Hub), giving you the power to save up to 128 presets. The Neuro Editing Systems Job one in the development of the Source Audio One Series modulation pedals – the Gemini Chorus, Lunar Phaser, and Mercury Flanger – was to create three great sounding, flexible, and easy-to-use pedals. Out of the box, that’s exactly what they are – plug ‘em in, select from the three onboard flanger, phaser, or chorus engines and make beautiful music… simple. But there is much more here than meets the eye (and ear) – the truly “Big Idea” behind our One Series modulation pedals was to give musicians a second, far deeper, set of options and editing tools with which to craft the perfect tone. The Neuro Mobile App is a free downloads for iOS and Android. The Neuro basically gives you access to the effects of all three pedals, so when you buy any one of the Lunar Phaser, Mercury Flanger or Gemini Chorus, you’re essentially buying all three. Roll the Mix Control all of the way up for Vibrato. With the Space control acting as a Tone Control in this mode, you can go from bright to vintage warmth, dialing in the perfect chorus. Dual Chorus Mode: We created a frequency crossover-based dual-chorus engine. Imagine a dividing line that is centered on your high E-string. Control the depth of chorus independently for highs and lows. Craft the ultimate “Come As You Are” Nirvana of chorus tones. Create a very deep, throbbing chorus on the low end, and a near perfect calm on the top end. Or make the high-end and shimmer and waver while keeping the low end fixed! ChoralFlangelo OK, it goes twice as deep. The Seafoam Plus Chorus is a Bass Chorus, Flanger, and Tremolo too! Pop off the back, flick a switch, and it’s a bass guitar player’s dream. The Space Controls gives you controls or Regeneration, High-pass filtering to keep things tight, and a haunting Tremolo you have to hear to believe! o let’s get down and funky, Michelangelo! While this pedal excels at the vintage bucket-brigade chorus and vibrato tones you’ve heard for decades, these straightforward controls can also create a wide range of textures and are versatile enough for any music style. Controls “Rate” controls the speed of the LFO (left is slower, right is faster). “Depth” controls the depth, or perceived mix of the chorus effect (left is less, right is more). The side switch toggles between two modes: Chorus and Vibrato (reminiscent of effect pedals like the BOSS VB-2). The footswitch activates the pedal via soft touch bypass switching. The status LED indicates the circuit is active. Specs The ¼” input and output jacks connect to your guitar and amplifier.
