Two subwoofers and eight satellites offer all the advantages of the CURV 500® System and have sufficient power reserves for larger events or applications with high power requirements, especially in the bass range. The compact, transport-friendly CURV 500® is an easily configurable array system with eight interlocking satellites, which are operated via a SmartLink® adapter. The elements, only 12 x 12 cm in size, are equipped with LD System’s own WaveAhead® technology, one 4″ and three 1″ drivers provide a coherent and extremely detailed playback with high pressure and dynamics. The 10″ bass-reflex subwoofer houses the Class D power amplifier and includes a limiter, protection against short circuit, overheating, over-voltage, as well as a 4-channel mixer with 16 digital effect presets and Bluetooth®. Combo, and Speakon-compatible sockets offer extensive connectivity options, and the subwoofer features four digital system presets, an M20 threaded flange and three ergonomic carrying handles. The second subwoofer with its own power amplifier offers identical technical specifications, but does not require any mixer. The compact, transport-friendly CURV 500® is an easily configurable array system with eight interlocking satellites, which are operated via a SmartLink® adapter. The elements, only 12 x 12 cm in size, are equipped with LD System's own WaveAhead® technology, one 4 and three 1 drivers provide a coherent and extremely detailed playback with high pressure and dynamics. The 10 bass-reflex subwoofer houses the Class D power amplifier and includes a limiter, protection against short circuit, overheating, over-voltage, as well as a 4-channel mixer with 16 digital effect presets and Bluetooth®. Combo, and Speakon-compatible sockets offer extensive connectivity options, and the subwoofer features four digital system presets, an M20 threaded flange and three ergonomic carrying handles. The second subwoofer with its own power amplifier offers identical technical specifications, but does not require any mixer. Its versatility can already be guessed at by looking at the range of MAILA sets: The MAILA SPA amplifier module is used in the smallest MAILA-S ground stack set as well as in the large MAILA XL version with flown arrays. MAILA SPA is an amplifier module in elegant unibody aluminium design with integrated 1.25 kW power amplifier with SysCore® DSP for controlling up to eight MAILA SAT satellites. Via the SmartLink+® system, the satellites can be simply slid onto the SPA and wirelessly supplied with a signal. In addition, SmartLink+® enables automatic detection of the installed satellites for automatic or manual DSP processing. As with the MAILA COL column module, MAILA SPA allows users to create ground stack configurations with a speaker pole (included in the MAILA S set) as well as flown setups with the EasyMount+® mounting adapter. With LogoLink®, LD Systems has added another innovation to MAILA. Via the free MAILA app (iPadOS), every MAILA system can be quickly, easily and precisely adjusted and wirelessly supplied with software updates. Once connected, the app automatically recognises the existing MAILA components and enables the system to be set up quickly and easily – including calculation of the SAT angles – in the run-up to an event. The highlight: the wireless antennas are invisibly integrated into the LD logo of the MAILA SPA.
